Thermoplastic Road and Playground Markings

Thermoplastic road markings are a type of long-term surface marking that is created from solid powder paint. This paint is heated up in a tank before application and is then sprayed onto a surface, such as roads, using specialist machines. It then cools and sets quickly, adhering firmly to the road or surface. The paint is created from a mix of pigments, reflective glass beads, additives for fading-resistance, and synthetic resin. It doesn’t contain any harmful or volatile solvents, making it a great choice for children’s playgrounds, too.

Due to their range of benefits, thermoplastic markings have the flexibility to be used for a variety of different purposes, including:

  • Car parks
  • Bus lanes and cycle lanes
  • High-traffic zones
  • Road safety markings
  • Playgrounds
  • Colourful surface logos and graphics
  • Sports courts

Reline Painting can custom make and install your thermoplastic markings in many different colours shapes and sizes, call or email us today for you specific project needs.
